Hour CalculatorThis hour calculator can calculate the amount of time you are spending between to points in time, the application uses 24 hour clock and also requires that you put the time in a four figure number. For example, 1 PM would be written down as 1300 and 1AM would be written down as 0100. Please note that midnight will be 0000. This application allows you to write to two arrival and departure times. Put two times in these, then you can either make it copy the Monday selection into all the boxes or you can set the rest of the boxes manually yourself with a different time. Once you have filled in the times that you want press ‘Work out hours’. This then converts the times inputted into a equitation, for example T1 is your first time you entered, T2 for second, T3 for the third and T4 for the fourth. Once it has the times it will check which of T1 or T2 is bigger than minus the smaller number off. Then it will check if it has been given a negative number, if it has it will turn it positive. Once it has done that, it will do the same for T3 and T4. It will then add the two numbers together to get the total amount of time spent between the two times. From this it has the time you have been out, it then divides that number by 100. This gives the number of hours and a decimal. The application then separates the decimal from the number and times the decimal by 60 to give the correct number of minutes. Then it arranges all the data and outputs it into the box. The last box which tells you the total amount of time out collects and stores all the hours and minutes from each box then adds it altogether to give you the total amount of time out. This calculator could be used for example, amount of time you travel to and from work, this would make it easier to calculate how long you have been out and you will be able to give a more accurate time to claim back your travel expenses to and from work. Another use for this calculator is to work out how long it will take you to do a certain task, for example build a table in a workshop. You could work out when you are going to do something and for how long, input that data into this calculator then it will automatically work out how long you will be working for in less than one second. Finally you could use this calculator to plan how long each day of the week you are going to exercise for and/or how long you have already been exercise for the week. |
